What I have done in the past
I graduated from the University of Waikato in 1997 (LLB & BA) and moved to Auckland the same year.  Prior to joining Burton & Co as a senior solicitor in 2006 I worked at a number of small to medium-sized law firms where I undertook a range of property related work, including residential and commercial acquisitions and sales, subdivisions, financing, wills and trusts.

My approach to working with clients
I like to form and maintain good relationships with my clients and ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided.  In doing this I endeavour to understand the clients’ needs from the outset and work with them to get the results they are looking for.

What I enjoy at work
I enjoy the challenges of being a property lawyer.  No two days are the same and the work at Burton & Co is always varied and interesting.

What I enjoy out of work
In my spare time I like to get outdoors and enjoy road cycling, mountain biking, running and kayaking.  My goal is to complete the Coast to Coast multisport event in the South Island.
