Carolyn is a specialist commercial property lawyer.
Admitted in 1998 and joining the partnership in April 2013, she has particular expertise in complex development projects, leasing across all sectors and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate.
A large part of her practice involves putting together or restructuring complex and often innovative staged subdivisions, whether unit titles, groundleases, greenfields or increasingly often, a combination of different tenures. This process quite often extends to putting in place design, build and lease solutions for integrated complexes and dealing with complex subdivision requirements.
She also spends a significant part of her working life putting together lease solutions for both landlords and tenants and looks after a number of nationwide portfolios.
Carolyn has acted for a number of well known national and international clients, often dealing with the requirements of the Overseas Investment Act.
Outside of the office she has a young family that keeps her on her toes and when time allows likes to indulge her passion for photography.
